Communications

 

Parent/school communication is very important to us as our partnership supports your child’s growth and development. Please share pertinent information with the teacher and she will provide you with information about your child’s activities. The Director wants to know about any concerns you may have. Confidential matters will be handled as such.

NEWSLETTERS

Each month, a newsletter is prepared, distributed to parents and posted on the website. It contains discussion of the concepts that were covered in the previous month, announcements of upcoming events and classroom news.
 

PARENT BULLETIN BOARD

Located in the foyer, please check the Bulletin Board on a regular basis for a variety of announcements.
 

LESSON PLANS

The teachers post their lesson plans on the classroom doors. These display the weekly concepts, themes and Bible stories that are being introduced to your child.
 

INCIDENT/ACCIDENT REPORTS

Teachers will document incidents (i.e., hitting a peer) or accidents (i.e., a scraped knee) relating to your child while at school. These will be shared at the end of the session. Parents are notified immediately if a situation requiring parental or medical attention is required.
 

PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES

These are arranged annually in March, but you may request an appointment to confer with the teacher at any time.
